thanks, we saw it two years ago when they let it come through east texas. its amazing, i wish they sold passenger tickets to ride on it .

Is the only passenger excursion the one from No to Plaquemine?
Did I miss one closer to home?

Would love to ride through CO on this!

yep that looks like the only one...1200 per person or down to 650 for the classic seat.

but still thats high
we rode in the presidential car at texas state railroad for much better rates
i have to find a dog sitter

I wouldn't hesitate to pay that premium ticket for a ride from CO to TX. In a Pullman car, maybe?
I'm not the biggest railway buff, but, there's something about making that trip by steam train that I would definitely pay to do.

From a friend who is a retired UP engineer and who was always crazy about trains. I hope he won’t mind me sharing. I think this is in West Texas
