I’m struggling to see how this has anything to do with a gun / self defense forum. Thus the reason many no longer participate here. One day I checked and I had to scroll through at least 12 threads before I got to anything firearm related, and out of the top 20 most recent posts only 2 were.

Agreed. Without the "Off Topic" category the forum wouldn't have a lot of posts. Then again, if it was back to being 99% about Texas CHL/LTC, firearm laws, training, etc instead of it being a general news aggregator people might be more active.

I don't know if anyone else noticed but the last "new member" registered on this forum was on Sat Feb 27, 2021.

As far as the original post of this thread...two words: banana republic.

This is the off topic section.

Forums aren't as popular as they once were, and trying to keep the folks that do stay from enjoying one another's viewpoints on other subjects is a sure way to cut the traffic down even more.

Court Orders Release Of 'True The Vote' Leaders From Jail

To have the leading champions of fair and honest elections in our nation locked up in jail for not disclosing the identity of confidential informants in an ongoing criminal case is Banana Republic land. That the event co-insides with a major election is also detrimental to observing the fairness of the current election. I hope someone can see how that impacts our freedom in general and our 2A rights?
