The Battles of Lexington and Concord, fought on April 19, 1775, kicked off the American Revolutionary War (1775-83). Tensions had been building for many years between residents of the 13 American colonies and the British authorities, particularly in Massachusetts. On the night of April 18, 1775, hundreds of British troops marched from Boston to nearby Concord in order to seize an arms cache.

Never give up your weapons. Freedom from tyranny depends upon the right to keep and bear arms. The patriots in 1775 knew that.

I'm stealing this from another person in another forum... can't take credit but thought it was pretty good...

Breaking: Anti government violence erupts. Mass casualty event in progress.

Reports are flooding in that anti-government extremists using assault weapons to interfere with the lawful seizure of an arsenal has turned into a running gunbattle and has resulted in at least 300 Government casualties.
Crime scenes are scattered along a 16 mile stretch from Lexington to Concord.
Crown officials vow a full investigation into the incident and arrest of all involved. Arrest warrants have been issued for Samuel Adams and John Hancock, and many more are sure to follow.
God save the King.

I would recommend if you were in Boston to visit these sites. They are reasonably preserved.

The march back to Boston was deadly for the Red Coats you can see the path and see how the Americans decimated them from the high ground above the trail. Trees and large rocks provided excellent cover.

Today is the 30th anniversary of Waco. Their blood is on the hands of Bill and Janet. 25 children died that day.
