Veterans Day 2023

I want to thank every veteran for their patriotism and service to our country! This day is not just a reason for retailers to hold sales, which to me is ridiculous, but rather a day to reflect on and pay respect to those who served and sacrificed. Thank you!

When it's prayer time at Sunday school, I like to contribute with the following:

"Lord, please keep safe the uniformed men and women of the US military, who are in foreign lands, ON and UNDER the oceans of the world, doing their best to keep the rest of us safe, in this perilous time."

The UNDER part I added thanks to knowing our resident bubblehead - grayling813.
