New Tin-Foil Category?

Post by TexasCajun »

It looks like we'll have to start making room for the tin-foil phone crowd. I think they should be right next to the tin-foil hat crowd so that it's easier for them to migrate back & forth...

And then there's this one. It's about emails, but it kinda fits

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not really out to get you!

No really... I was abducted by little green men with large almond shaped black eyes... They drove this really loud vehicle with a really bright blue light... They did horrible thing to me... And now I'm being chased by tall men in black suits... They tapped the phones of my relatives, killed my beagle and...and... They do this because I a trying to prove that the little green men exist.

Really???? All I got from them was this uncomfortably form-fitting red suit with a cape. I think the suit has some sort of super-powers, but I'm not sure because I lost the instruction book.

What about those articles warrant the tin foil hat? I can see a hat for the 2012 Doomsday Mayan nutsos, but all of those articles are valid. The photo with geotags has been around for ages. I've used it to find out where pics were taken...and I disable it on my phone! :)

One of my friends on FB posted that he registered a complaint with the Mayans for not consulting anyone before they end it all. He said if you wake up on the 23rd, you can thank him. :smilelol5:

Everyone misunderstands the Mayans. They were not as worldly aware as we are today. Their concern extended only through the region they knew. They were actually pretty close. When the next step in Mexican amnesty comes along, there will be nobody left in Mexico. Thus the end of the world the Mayans knew.

I once had a certain Lt. Col. as a squadron commander. He told us "You're NOT paranoid if they really are out to get you"...he was a very good commander, and I still tend to believe the things I learned from his leadership, that being one of them.
