By the way, he is doing this on our behalf.
He's seeking $88,987,654,321.88 — Bryant's jersey No. 88 book-ended by digits 9 through 1 — in damages on behalf of the team, its fans and "all people in or and from the sovereign Republic of Texas."

Hey, enough people sign on and this could snowball into a class action suit. I know some of my friends feel the same way.

Some of those jailhouse lawyers are pretty good.

Inmates shouldn't be allowed to file any lawsuit that doesn't pertain specifically and directly to their own case and then only with microscopic supervision of a licensed attorney.

Seems to me an incarcerated Detriot fan would have a better case.

I saw that. What if he gets shanked by a Packers fan on behalf of the fine citizens of Green Bay? Will there be war?
