Closed on our place today...

#1

Post by RJGold »

We just closed on 63 acres today. Out near Weimar.

We're pretty excited to get started building our retirement place. It's big enough to do a little hunting (birds, deer, and hogs) and is about half wooded and half pasture. Also want to put a small range in. Just a place I can sight in my rifles and shoot pistols when I want.

Now just need to sell our house in Sugar Land. We're empty nesters now and don't need this place in the burbs any more.

I'll post some pics when I can...

Nice, would love to pick some land up out that way. Need to make it a little deeper into the recession and foreclosure come up first for me though.

Congratulations! I look forward to the time when I can spend the day fishing or watching the grass grow.

That sounds really great RJ. I'm happy for you. I hope the wife and I can do something similar when the time is right.
