Next thing, we'll be hearing about the nefarious barbed wire show loophole.
Keep calm and carry.

You scoff, but the high capacity barbed wire with the thingies that go up are incredibly dangerous and are made to maim and kill.mr1337 wrote:Next thing, we'll be hearing about the nefarious barbed wire show loophole.

Are they letting people just buy barbed wire with no background check? Just wait there will be barbed wire strung up in the streets!! It will be like the old west no one will be safe!!
I'm going to find out where the barbed wire free zones are so me and my family will be safe from these crazy nuts!!

I don't remember where, but I visited a place that had an exhibit of barbed wire. Some of them looked very scary.VMI77 wrote:You scoff, but the high capacity barbed wire with the thingies that go up are incredibly dangerous and are made to maim and kill.mr1337 wrote:Next thing, we'll be hearing about the nefarious barbed wire show loophole.

Is razor wire an NBWA (national barbed wire act) item? I am glad we don't need CLEO sign off anymore!

But do they have any of the high-capacity, automatic, military-style barbed wire?

Yes, I left that out. With at least 700 barbs per inch.Jusme wrote:sjfcontrol wrote:But do they have any of the high-capacity, automatic, military-style barbed wire?

700 barbs per inch? That's crazy. No one needs more than 1 barb per yard. Only barb wire nuts want more than that.sjfcontrol wrote:Yes, I left that out. With at least 700 barbs per inch.Jusme wrote:sjfcontrol wrote:But do they have any of the high-capacity, automatic, military-style barbed wire?

Re: Forget the gun show, go to the barbed wire show
This reminded me that I have a little antique board with 4-6 similar samples of different types of barbed wire on it that I got from my grandpa when he passed away twenty years ago. I need to find where it is, it'd go great in my son's room.

And why would you want to have it out where it could maim or kill someone? It needs to be kept on a roll and locked in a safe place away from innocent people!!Soccerdad1995 wrote:700 barbs per inch? This show was in New Mexico. I'm assuming Lucas McCain would not approve.
(Any time this topic comes up, I immediately think of that episode. . . or the movie "Open Range" or "Shane".)
