Happy Birthday!

Thanks, guys. Mrs. Oldgringo's birthday is today and we just got in from a four night RV outing at LakeTawakoni State Park. I can recommend that park for you camping folk. It's alright for whatever your camping mode might be. I suspect reservations will be required. It was full this weekend.
The big question now is...{drum roll}...where to next?

Happy Birthday guys.
My wife and I just pulled into Beaver's Bend in Broken Bow, OK for the week to celebrate her birthday (Jan) and valentines. Killing two gifts in one trip.Oldgringo wrote:Thanks, guys. Glad you found a site. AFAIK, Broken Bow (Oklahoma State Parks) still does not take reservations. I'd have an advanced case of the "reds" if I'd driven 200 miles, or so, to find there was no vacancy.
We stayed in Site #1 once. A mature Bald Eagle flew up the river right outside our RV at eye level. Good trout fishing in the river.....if you're up to it.

Thursday's they release trout in the morning time. I have that in my schedule. I have never had a problem finding a place, but I have never been here on a weekend either. We are always out during the week.Oldgringo wrote:Glad you found a site. AFAIK, Broken Bow (Oklahoma State Parks) still does not take reservations.
