Then there's the couple who bought a home with half a million in cash plus a loan but haven't been able to move in for a year because the seller refuses to leave and continues to live there rent free. The state is backing him up under its covid eviction prohibition which rational folks thought applied only to renters like it does everywhere else. Details here.

I am kind of glad it is happening to them. I can't think of any leftist scum that deserves it more than the ones from Kalifornia.

Apparently Newsome put a fighter jet on alert to combat large crowds in violation of his Covid orders.

Yes, Jenner would be a better Governor.

Finally! They admit that blacks commit more violent crime than whites per capita.

No, sorry my comment was satire. They haven’t admitted that. They have just decided using a gun in a crime discriminates against people of color. Other races use throwing stars, samurai swords, or a pen and paper or a computer.

Yeah, I know. I was using some satire myself while stating a fact. They will never admit the truth. It goes against the agenda.

They claim the current law is racist, even though the sentences aren't based on race. The new anti-racism law though, is racist because it is based on race.

Just imagine how much they would have to sell just to make up for a few thieves making off with 500 or so in goods. There is no way to make enough profit to cover those kind of losses.

So a young man shop lifted some I phone cases from a store. (Not a crime in San Fransisco)

Later he attempted to return them for money.

The store owner refused to provide a “refund” on merchandise that was stolen.

The “shopper” then hit and pepper sprayed the Asian shop keeper.

And yet...and yet...the man assaulting the small Asian woman does not appear to be a white supremacist. I had a conversation with a liberal/Democrat friend Monday and the spike in violence against Asian Americans came up. She said instantly that it was a clear example of the huge, and rising, threat of organized, extremist, white supremacy groups, emboldened by the January 6 insurrection.

My comment was that, of all the news items I recall from the past several months of attacks on Asian Americans, most were not perpetrated by "whites" so them being the work of organized white supremacy groups seemed highly unlikely. She knows I news-surf most of the outlets, including CNN and PBS and network news (I admit I can almost never stomach MSNBC for very long, though), but her comeback was that my skewed view of the situation was because all I watch is Fox News.

Not having time to look through recent news stories and capture text and photos, I found this link and sent it to her instead. Michelle Malkin, as a first-generation American and the daughter of Asian parents, has interesting--but not certainly not "woke"--observations about the actual ethnically-targeted violence we've been seeing against Asians in this recent opinion piece in the Norfolk Daily News: https://norfolkdailynews.com/commentary ... 12012.html.
