Yes, I voted for him. Trump is a businessman, and one most people would call very successful. He didn't get there by being nice, or even considerate. He's a jerk, and yes I was surprised at how thin skinned he seems to be and I could care less about anything he did in his private life before his presidency. That said he's an intelligent man and in business or in politics I would not want to be on the opposite side of the table from him behind closed doors.

However, what I saw from the Democrats and their supporter over the last few weeks (and ongoing) makes me so sick at how low they will go and how little they care about anything but their own power that if needed I'll probably vote for him again.
:iagree: Well said.

Keep going leftists, keep going. Every day you motivate Republicans to vote and undecideds to vote right. Continue this behavior and wake up on November 7th with Republicans still in control of the House and Senate.

A special education teacher in Minnesota on Monday was putt on paid administrative leave following a controversial tweet about killing now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

So she's rewarded with a paid admin. leave/vacation?

Oh right, she's in minnesota...which is probably more socialist/marxist than mass.

If the same teacher made the same threat against obama, she'd be in jail and shortly thereafter in prison in short order.

For two years, NeverTrump has united with the Left to sabotage Trump’s presidency, smear congressional Republicans who support him, and ridicule Trump voters. Led by Bill Kristol, the editor-at-large-and-getting-larger of the Weekly Standard, this group is as culpable as the news media and Democratic politicians for the smoldering hellscape that now is American politics.
I have zero respect for Never Trumpers. Bill Kristol, Jonah Goldberg, Erick Erickson and all the rest of the "conservative media" who oppose Trump are Democrat appeasers and complicit in the socialist progressives' campaign to destroy the President.
I stand with you, and will fight with you shoulder to shoulder. Those that believe there is some common ground are either delusional or in denial - their way they are part of the problem. Thank you BBLHD672 for being part of the solution.

I agree that he has taken on several very important and overlooked issues, and I don't need him to be a saint. I find his philandering to be off putting, but i think that it's part of a larger issue of extreme narcissism. Im not sure that Trump can admit to being wrong, which could influence decision making that affects me.
You will not find anyone elected to public office without at least modest clinical symptomology of narcissism. Trump, overall, is fairly mild.

Narcissists, on the grand-stage, are ideologues, of which the Clintons and Obamas are classic examles. "Not only should everyone love ME, they must in their heart of hearts, love MY ideas. If they do not, they are dangerous, and should be forcibly repressed." In that same vein, and in the evolution of progressive narcissism, we see the idea that law is used to control the disagreeable, while the "Leader" does not have to be accountable to said law, i.e., classic sociopathology.

We all agree that one shouldn't bring a knife to a gunfight.

Well, the Left & the swamp creatures are the gunfighters, and we've been nominating Republican presidential candidates with a knife for years. We finally have a gunfighter in the WH, and we're getting results. I'm all in favor of supporting him for the foreseeable future. He's winning.

My great hope is Kavanaugh meant what he said about being independent minded, and he rules against all unconstitutional laws and regulations, no matter if they're right wing or left wing attacks on the U.S. Constitution. No matter what flawed precedent exists. No matter how well intentioned the law.

ICC means only that type of commerce, not intrastate commerce, not non-commercial transactions, and not things after they crossed state lines.

Any "law respecting an establishment of religion" is void, including tax laws and IRS rules.

"shall not be infringed" means exactly that.

etc.

I almost didn't vote for Trump because I didn't believe he really was a conservative, he absolutely slandered all of his Republican opponents with the most evil and nasty language, he is a liar and he is/was a womanizer. I also didn't agree with his views on trade or on Afganistan and Iraq. I did vote for him in the end because he wasn't Hillary and on almost every issue I had more hope for him than I had for Hillary. And we have had plenty of Presidents, mostly Democrats, who were womanizers and almost every President (and most politicians) has been a liar to one degree or another.

Having said that, I am now almost ecstatic that I voted for him. His judicial picks both at the Supreme Court and lower courts have been the most consistently of the originalist and textualist school of any President in my memory including all the Republican Presidents in the last 60 years. He has acted pro-life where he could. His attack on regulations is wonderful and much needed. The tax cuts are good. Even his renegotiation of trade agreements, which I didn't think wise, has so far worked out pretty well. On foreign affairs, he has upset the Europeans, which I kind of like; he has supported Israel; he has been tough on Russia and Iran; and he has worked with the Arab countries. I also like his willingness to talk to any nation's leader although there are times I wish he would dial down the superlatives. And he is one of the few politicians that I can remember who has actually kept his campaign promises once in office!

Most of all I like that he fights back!

Doesn't an African-American with blonde hair constitute cultural appropriation? (in addition to being guilty of 'protest sign appropriation'....)

It looks like the Senate will stay red and the House will turn blue. If the Democrats try to impeach Kavanaugh because he's too originalist for their taste, things could get even uglier than they already are. And I'm not just talking about inside the beltway. I hope sane heads prevail, but I'm buying more M193 just in case.

Not sure how it works for judges, but even though the House can vote to impeach, doesn't the actual "trial" take place in the Senate and require more than a simple majority to put the judge out of office? If the Republicans hold the Senate I don't see how he could be taken off the court. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Innovation and growth in the future are not a known element. People in 1975 and 1985 couldn't really know to what extent the computer would develop (and the massive market that technology would open). We don't know now what the next big development will be.
And there lies an important reason socialism has not worked and will not work--anywhere---ever.

From what I have read, and heard from those who know more about a judicial impeachment process, he cannot be impeached, for anything he did in the past, and unless, they can prove, he smohow perjured himself during the confirmation hearings, they won't be able to bring impeachment proceedings. The only other way to impeach him, would be for judicial misconduct. The whole thing is just rhetoric, to try and get votes from left wing voters. JMHO
