5 minute weight would have been nice. I stood in line for an hour and 5 minutes. Look like the rest of Clear Lake residents all had the same idea I did.

I personally think that criminalizing free speech is ridiculous. Can I wear an NRA shirt? Why can't I carry?

From the article you linked:
Third-degree felony
Going to a polling place for any purpose other than to vote, or talking to anyone about how others voted.

Class C misdemeanors

Using a loudspeaker or other voice-amplifying device to make a political speech or promote a candidate or political party within 1,000 feet of a polling place during voting.
And from the Houston Chronicle today http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/ ... ocid=ientp
Just moments later, O'Rourke was across the street firing up his supporters with a bullhorn.

"Are y'all ready?" O'Rourke said to a cascade of cheers. "Houston, I love you."
Exactly how wide was that street? And unless Robert Francis was voting there, how did he not also commit a third degree felony?

I voted today, all republican except for the libertarian running against that jerk Ed Emmett. Even holding my nose I couldn't vote for Emmett.

Yup. Some things are worth standing for. RINOs need to know that there is a line and you don't cross it.

My wife finally got her proof of citizenship a few months ago after mistakenly having a green card (because her dad was too stupid to get her US citizenship when she was born abroad). She is registered and this will be her first time voting - we're both headed out to keep Texas red this afternoon! :txflag:

Presidential election my wife made her own shirt with a cartoon of herself giving the thumbs up and underneath saying make America great again. After being in line for about 45 minutes an official said she couldn't vote with that shirt. So she took it off and turned it inside out, while in line.
