After Trudeau invokes rarely-used emergencies act to start arresting protestors, the chief of police of Ottawa, the Canadian Capitol, has tendered his resignation.
"Peter Sloly and the Ottawa Police Services Board reached a mutually agreeable separation and as such Chief Peter Sloly is no longer employed with the Ottawa Police Service," board chair Diane Deans said during a meeting Tuesday afternoon.

I read that the Emergencies Act was passed in 1988, and has never been used. Another story I read hinted that the Chief resigning was because of pressure related to his (poor?) handling of the situation, and not as an act of protest to Trudeau invoking the Emergencies Act.

Internet never forgets.

Trudeau supports India farmers who shut down a major highway for a year. Canada will always support peaceful protest.

Trudeau says Conservatives ( including Jewish lawmakers) supporting the Swastikas.

Liberals tend to accuse others of what they do and say.

I’d say he and his party are done in Canada for a while.

Run on banks in Canada. ATMs dry.
So...
Are there any laws in the United States that would allow your checking account to be 'FROZEN' if you donated to an unapproved cause?

Should I begin removing excess cash from my banks?

What would happen to Trudeau if the "Run on banks in Canada", turned into a run on US Banks?

In the Harry Bosch books, the hero kept 'earthquake' money.
There aren't many earthquakes in Houston but
It seemed like a good precaution to keep cash on hand.
Maybe for hurricanes / winter freezes instead of earthquakes.

Cash is good. But if it gets really bad, gold and silver. Really really bad I think 9mm ammunition, 12 ga will give good value.

While others are investing in gold and silver, I’m investing in lead and brass.

Funny what happens when you don’t have guns.

If you go back and listen to some of the documentaries of Sarajevo during the conflict, the major "currency" was bullets. The problem here today is getting your hands on enough quantity to make trading it viable. I worry about having enough to hold off the hoards that would want to steal it in a a problem arises scenario.
