...but the current situation in Paris is a good reminder of why the United States originally formed the type of government we have with certain rights defined for its citizens.

The French Revolution followed the American Revolution, wouldn't it be interesting if the 2nd American Revolution followed the 2nd French Revolution. Hmmmmm
Government, like fire is a dangerous servant and a fearful master
If you ain't paranoid you ain't paying attention
Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war let it begin here- John Parker

Seriously kayt00? There are links in the story claiming that the terrorist shooting in Strasbourg was a false flag operation by the Mossad? Or that HIAS is inviting terrorists into the US? Did you even stop to look at some of the nonsense presented on that website? Unless you are also a Jew hater - which I sincerely hope not to be the case - I would double the layers of tinfoil in my hat before I read any more of that nonsense.

Absolutely not the case but I was able to locate other stories from different sites stating the same thing. Please accept my sincerest apologies if I have offended you in any way shape or form, that certainly was not my intent. Here's another link stating the same thing from another source.

Trust me, I am not offended. I simply object to posting articles from a source that clearly espouses a Jew hating agenda. And as for the fact that French police are carrying loaded weapons, its about time. Oh, and BTW, no one has been shot, at least not yet. But only a left wing liberal news source would publish a story portraying outrage at police having loaded weapons (and what good is an unloaded weapon?) and promote Jew hatred at the same time. I am certain we will see this story soon on CNN. So to my mind the loaded weapons is a non-story designed to spin up anti-gun readers, and the Crusader source is clearly one that seems to have as their agenda creation and perpetuation of anti-Jewish sentiment in the US and abroad. They have other stories referring to "global Zionist elites". Hello?
So I find myself asking, why post this hateful rhetoric here? I will assume that you did not realize what it was you were posting?

It was simply the story itself, not the source that I found interesting. I don't get political and don't have any real agenda other than sharing going's on's, which I really don't do often.
The timing of the story was what really got to me I guess since my step-son has not been doing well with history, so I sat him down to watch "Innocents Betrayed" for an explanation of why History is important. Those who fail to learn from it are doomed to repeat it.

I feel as though Frances current situation is yet another story of an unarmed populace being pushed around by the police state yet again.

Maybe it’s a just in case thing.

However, sometimes things spiral out of control and bullets fly, usually not hitting a guy throwing things, but a young college girl who was just walking to class.

Daily Mail’s photo showed a cool rifle. Gun porn for an English audience, who is probably starving for it?

https://news.yahoo.com/french-waiter-sh ... 49563.html

Waiter murdered for taking too long to make a sandwich.

Shot in the shoulder by a handgun, failed to be revived at the scene.

Gun laws in France? Restrictive. Very restrictive. No concealed carry unless you a big time politico. Owning a gun, have to join a shooting club, shrink exam once a year.

Healthcare in France? Best in the world. Yet Lady Di died from a car accident. Yassr Arafat also died from the best heath care in the world. France doesn’t rush you to the hospital, but tries to “stabilize” you at the scene. Waiting to take you to the hospital. Didn’t work out for Lady Di. Didn’t work out for this poor guy with the shoulder wound either.

Hotair site is antisemitic? That’s quite a stretch...isn’t it part of the Salem Media group with Townhall and others with Ben Shapiro and Dennis Prager and so on writing? The Daily Mail probably as it’s a left wing British paper. But Hotair is a compendium site like Drudge, they link a bunch of articles.
4/13/1996 Completed CHL Class, 4/16/1996 Fingerprints, Affidavits, and Application Mailed, 10/4/1996 Received CHL, renewed 1998, 2002, 2006, 2011, 2016...). "ATF... Uhhh...heh...heh....Alcohol, tobacco, and GUNS!! Cool!!!!"
