Allegedly, he'll head for Ireland when released in May 2019.

He’s being released in the US?
How can we be certain he will go to Ireland?
How did he get an Irish passport?

Apparently he obtained Irish citizenship according to the article.

Apparently if you have a parent, or grandparent who was born in Ireland/Irish Citizen, you can apply for Irish citizenship. That seems the mostly likely probability for Lindh. Maybe I should check on how many generations ago the Irish side of my family got here......

I don’t fear for his safety, because I think it would be a good thing if he choked on a chicken bone. I won’t give a hoot if someone, particularly someone from Mike Spahn's family, decides to put a round in Walker-Lindh's head some dark night. I’m just more like clinically interested to see if he makes it to Ireland alive.

Yeah maybe about 10 years from now when he thinks everyone's forgotten about him. The boogeyman will come in the middle of the night. Someone like John Wick. Like Don Corleone said " vengeance is a dish best served cold "
