I'm a veteran, but not retired. Home Depot has never denied me a discount.

The following site discusses these discounts and Home Depot does NOT match Lowes. If you got a discount at Home Depot consider yourself lucky.

They told me I needed to be active or retired. I shop at Lowe’s, they always give me the discount.

This was at the Lowes in East Plano today. I applaud them for this.

I went to Lowes yesterday to purchase products for a remodel. I was informed that their discount is now 5% for active duty military. This sucks! Headed to Home Depot today. Ill report back
