The piece is actually about new Gallup poll results released yesterday, "Americans Revert to Favoring Reduced Government Role":Joe Biden, as I've written before, is a radical president. Especially when it comes to the role government can and should play in the lives of everyday Americans. Biden's policy agenda -- from the $1 trillion "hard" infrastructure bill to the as-yet-unpriced social safety net package -- would, if passed, fundamentally alter the relationship we have with government. In short: The era of small government (such as it ever existed) would be over. The era of expansive government would begin.
In fact, in the 29 years Gallup has been trying to take this pulse, it's the most dramatic opinion reversal ever. Since 1992, the highest opinion-point for "the government should do to solve our problems" was 50%. That is, until around the 2020 election when it soared to 54%. Less than one year later, it's flipped. It's the most stark and rapid attitude shift since 9/11 in that regard. So the Biden administration is being advised/pushed by the radical left, but this poll indicates that Pelosi, Schumer, AOC, et al., have their fingers on the pulse of very little. Considering I struggle to name even a single thing I believe the Biden administration has done right, with any luck this trend will continue into the 2022 election will result in a massive win because America will be asking, "What the heck have you done to us in just 22 months?"Americans have shifted back to favoring a more hands-off approach for government in addressing the nation's problems after a rare endorsement of a more active role last year. Currently, 52% say the government is doing too many things that should be left to individuals and businesses, while 43% want the government to do more to solve the country's problems. In contrast, a record-high 54% of U.S. adults last year said the government should do more to solve problems.

It just amazes me that so many blacks continue to vote for a party that only remembers them until the election is over.philip964 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 2:34 pmJust like the IRS will go after the 300 black church’s in Virginia who plan to play during their service a Kamala video supporting the Dem VA Governor in the upcoming election.powerboatr wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 12:55 pmyup, but we all know the FBI will do what the FBI has been very good at in regards to actually going after democratsPaladin wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 5:35 pmCriminals should be in jail. And as the reality of the current supply chain issues and rising inflation sets in, I predict his approval ratings will drop still lower in November.
- Biden's approval is lower than at any other point in his term, Gallup poll revealed
- His October approval rating is more than 10 points lower than average
- Only Obama has a larger drop in average approval from January to October
- Latest survey shows Biden's approval has not recovered from the chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal at the end of the summer nor the border crisis
Really 42%, that much.Rafe wrote: ↑Fri Oct 22, 2021 2:10 pm New Gallup poll just in. Reported on Fox News TV, and here in print by The Guardian:
Biden loses more support than any other president since WWII: Approval ratings in his first nine months nosedive by 11% as independents abandon him and just 42% of Americans think he's doing a good job

Well, the polarization between the responses of survey participants is even more glaring than even I could imagine.
In the latest survey, 92% of Democrats approve and 6% disapprove of the job Biden is doing, while 4% of Republicans approve and 94% disapprove.... Given the extreme partisan gaps in Biden's approval ratings, political independents' changing views of him are largely responsible for the recent declines in his approval rating. Currently, 34% of independents approve of the job Biden is doing, the lowest of his term to date. His approval among independents has fallen a total of 21 points since June, including nine points since August.
I’m almost expecting Xiden voters to start apologizing to me.anygunanywhere wrote: ↑Fri Oct 22, 2021 4:50 pm So 92% of democraps are that stupid! Incredible! Where are there bumper stickers? Yard signs? I want to know where these stupid people are!
