21 year old college student killed by a trio of sharks while snorkeling. Family tried to warn here as the sharks approached, but she couldn’t hear them.

Your allowed as a boater to keep a gun on your boat in a locked box.

Sad situation. I am from the Bahamas and know where this was. I actually go snorkeling there. One must always be vigilant when we go into unknown territory. The ocean is the sharks home and not ours. I doubt a gun would have stopped anything. Actually if people were around her there would be possibility of them getting shot as well. Like I said sad situation and RIP to the victim.

I took a glass bottom boat trip in Bahamas. As close as I want to be to sharks.

Been there once in the ‘70’s, nice place.

First time being asked on the street by a total stranger “did I want some drugs, man”.

I’ve seen a shark once scuba diving. Small, far away in Hawaii (Molokini Crater ) I was all excited, tried to get a picture. Tiny in the photo.

I was there in 70’s too and enjoyed it. Conch chowder delicious. Highly recommend as a vacation spot.
