Squad all re-elected. Wasn’t even close.
In the nuttiest districts in the USA, this is surprising to who?

Squad votes with Republicans to stop Capitol security funding bill.

Narrowly passes 213-212.

Chink in Pelosi’s armor?

Didn’t want money going for White Supremacy.

It gets worse. CA Republican “forgot” to cast a Texas Republican proxy vote allowing the bill to pass.

Rashida Tliab speaks out on the need for gun control and the ban on assault rifles. No citizen needs these weapons of war. She backed a bill to require gun locks on all guns sold in the US and and require background checks on all gun transfers.

We really have not talked about the squad and their views on guns.

AOC is really upset with the Pres of Israel for banning her visit to Israel, where guns are rarely in the hands of private citizens and if allowed, limited to 50 rounds of ammunition.

Since Hamas targeted schools would their recent terror attack be a counted as a school shooting?

Gun control folks are unusually quiet right now.

And firearm sales seem to be spiking again. Will be interesting to see the October numbers for NICS checks.

"Ilhan Omar says antisemitism would not be a problem if we got rid of all Jews. "

Speaking of only 50 rounds. Vietnam vet's son mentioned that his dad on rotation occasionally had to "guard" a bridge entrance on base under a light at night. He handled accounting functions on base, so he did not have a gun. They gave him a rifle to hold while on guard. But no ammunition as there was a shortage. This was '69 - '70. Does this sound accurate, an ammunition shortage in Vietnam or were they afraid, with ammunition he might shoot something he shouldn't.
