Bullet meets Bullet! circa 1917 Wharton, Texas

I don't know if this has ever been posted, but I just ran across this incredible, but true incident involving Marshall W.W. Pittman of Wharton, Texas during a 1917 gun battle with a drunken man. I remember an incident in Colorado where an LEO, though wounded, had a similar incident that saved his life.
