The difference in how it was administered from the first shot in early February and today was amazing. The first shot had a line of cars more than a mile long. The appointment window in February was a five hour period. Today they have it at a 30 minute period. There was a very short line and it took me longer waiting after the shot than it did to get the shot.

12K shots in one day sounds like a boat load! I am not sure how many the Plano location does but I am thinking it is not near that many.

It has been 2 hours since my shot. My arm is a little sore but no other side affects yet. They told me some folks get very few symptoms and others get flu like symptoms. I am hoping I fall in the few symptoms camp.
I hope your second shot experience is smooth sailing.

It took about 10-12 hours for me to get some symptoms after Moderna #2, but, 24 hours of unpleasant is a price I'd pay again gladly for the peace of mind.
I feel the same. I have a crazy high level of exposure due to having to work in other peoples homes every day. I may be in 15-30 homes a week. I was constantly worried about being exposed last summer. I am looking forward to not being so worried this spring/summer. At 60 and 50 pounds over weght, I am a poster child for Covid death.

I got my 1st Pfizer this morning at Globe Life Field. My upper right arm is a little bit sore, but I’m otherwise OK. My doctor's office doesn’t have the vaccine yet and doesn’t know when they’ll get it. I tried CVS, because the one I use is like 3 blocks from my house in NRH, but they’re booked up indefinitely at most of their locations. The few that aren’t are too far away to be a realistic alternative. So I signed up with the Tarrant County vaccination program, and Ranger Stadium was where they sent me.

Vaccine nationalism.

I think this would be what Trump and so far Biden is doing.
Developing a vaccine in your country and then vaccinating your citizens first.

I’ve had two shots now. I didn’t feel well a day after 2 nd shot. By 3rd day I was fine.

I'm gonna call bull on this story. You're not doing anyone any favors by posting this trash.
1. If you go to the article and follow the links to the data, the data does not show deaths, only adverse events. Well, I had some fairly adverse events after Moderna #2, but, I would take another shot today if it was recommended in the protocol. I would wager considerable amounts of money that the death numbers are fabricated, or quoted from some other unreliable source.

2. Health impact news isn't really a news source. Looking at actual science sources, I can find nothing to back up the death toll claims.

3. The CDC reports ~2,200 deaths of people who have been vaccinated in the US.
They report no pattern of death that would lead to a conclusion that death was caused by the vaccine.
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nc ... vents.html
126 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through March 22, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 2,216 reports of death (0.0018%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. CDC and FDA physicians review each case report of death as soon as notified and CDC requests medical records to further assess reports. A review of available clinical information including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records revealed no evidence that vaccination contributed to patient deaths. CDC and FDA will continue to investigate reports of adverse events, including deaths, reported to VAERS.
4. Only 4.5 cases of anaphylaxis per million injections.

The danger of Pathogenic Priming.

Well I guess it’s to late for me to worry about it.

I haven't taken the shot yet - I'm not a paranoiac or a denier, I just want to see what happens.

Something interesting I came across last week - Dr Ryan Cole on the apparently-incredible role of Vit D (supported with magnesium/zinc):

I saw/heard a similar recommendation from another doctor's lecture. She recommended vitamin D, zinc, magniesium and vitamin C. I have been doing that combination for many years for other reasons. I have not taken the injections for COVID either, out of concerns expressed by more than a few highly credentialed doctors. Will wait and see what happens over the next few years.

Last March (2020), after reading a lot of existing research on D3 and natural ability to combat respiratory disease) I put myself on a regimen of ---
1. Daily multivitamin (with D3, B's, Magnesium and Zinc, among other things)
2. Additional 7,000 IU D3 (2,000 AM and 5,000 PM)
3. Quercetin 250mg

I feel like I was ahead of things by 6 months or so...

Vaccinated teachers will not be hired at a $30k a year private school in Florida.

Could have gone in no place but Florida thread as well.
