In New York no good deed shall go unpunished.

Maximum crime and chaos is the objective of the government there.

it’s scary to think that people are carrying guns around the city
The (poorly trained) police are carrying guns around the city... the criminals are carrying guns around the city... why are law abiding citizen's scary?
She said the incident was the second of two unsettling encounters with homeless people at the 49th Street platform in just one day — her morning started with another man openly ******** on a bench without shame: “That set the tone for the day.”

The MTA and the NYPD aren’t doing much to protect the public. But it’s very dangerous
I would likely think him a bigger hero if he tried to help me without the gun. In my eyes, the gun is a little extreme. It was a very dangerous situation, anything could have happened.
And this is why this lady shouldn't be making any decisions. It was a very dangerous situation, anything could have happened... and armed police won't do a thing... and she wants to decide how she gets helped? "rlol"

Well, yeah... I'd think of him as a bigger hero if he tried to help you blindfolded with both hands tied behind his back, while whistling "Stars and Stripes Forever" backwards.

And think, these people are registered voters.

Apparently beating up police has become the new hobby in New York. And why not you get released with no bail.

If your willing to beat up a cop what chance does an ordinary unarmed citizen have?

My guess the police officers are also reluctant to shoot the thugs because they would be charged with murder.

The real question is: "Why, in heck, would anyone want to be a cop un NYC?"

Riot at NY high school after a teacher attended a pro Israel rally and held a pro Israel poster. She posted it on Facebook. She taught there for 23 years. Teacher was locked in office for her protection while other teachers blocked rioters from accessing her. Cops put down the riot. She was fixed and is now receiving death threats.

Nice people these New Yorkers.

In NYC subway.
Having been on the NYC subway I think the NG is the least of the problems there. Bigger issues are criminally insane people on the train with you and no means of lawful defense.

This quote was funny:
I don’t think that kind of a weapon should be used in such a crowded space.
A rifle is far more accurate than a handgun or shotgun and would be a preferred weapon in a crowded space. Unlike the NYPD, the NG actually has a reasonable level of firearms training. NYPD shooting qualifications are largely "can you operate the gun" more than testing any kind of marksmanship ability. At the NY airports they would only use NG who were specially vetted.

Man shoots crazy man on subway.

Will not be charged, self defense.

I’m sure this was a hasty judgement, they will reconsider and charge him.

Can’t have this sort of thing in NYC.

Quote from the comments:
I am a landlord. We are leaving NY State. The State cares only about criminals like these squatters...and those who came here uninvited and are living off us and taking care of "the" minority committing countless acts of appalling behavior. NY State literally punishes law abiding citizens. Get out now, because it is only going to get worse.
Sounds like when Trump gets back into office needs to start arresting the crooks running NY.
