In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

I always liked his music. Mr. Bojangles is my favorite song that he wrote.
So many people have covered that song. Years ago I burned a CD with all of the versions I could find.

Circa 1965 during high school my brother, a couple of friends and I organized a Folk Lore Society at our high school. We had a really cool English teacher as our sponsor and together we visited places like Sand Mountain, La Maison D' cafe and a couple of other early forerunners of places like The Old Quarter, Anderson Fair, and Liberty Hall that became popular in the 70's. He played at Sand Mountain as did Townes Van Zandt and many other notable Texas music icons who made Houston's rich music scene back then. He did Texas right for a New York boy and will be missed.
