I got a XM15-E2S in a trade and was wondering how do you figure out the twist rate of the barrel? Is it written some where on the barrel or rifle?

It's stamped on the barrel of my AR-15 but you can also use a cleaning rod with a patch to estimate it.

Is that a Bushmaster? If so, my Bushmaster is stamped on the top of the barrel near the muzzle break. Have a look there...
