What I would be worried about is where the muzzle of that "spare" gun pointed when you are using the rifle. On an AK it shouldn't point at your strong hand, but on an AR things may be a little different.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

To each their own, I can't see a practical reason for something like that, unless I just wanted to scare the crap out of a libtards, and demonstrate how to make an evil AR even more scary. :evil2:
Take away the Second first, and the First is gone in a second :rules: :patriot:
