Coincidentally, It is "Do not ask, Do not tell" rule, wouldn't be wonderful if this the rule does apply to gun ownership in US. It is our 2ndA right after all.

I’m an AK guy. I absolutely love the gun and the round it shoots. AKs are actually very accurate weapons if built well. They don’t have the range of a 223 but if I can quote a friend of mine “ we were seriously out gunned in all aspects in the sand box when it came to general rifles like the M4 vs AK”. If I was going to war I’d run an AK. If a problem arises here at home I’m goin with an AR due to the fact that everyone and their grandmother has one.

For street to street, door to door. M4 has more advantages, due the light weight and less recoil.
Just do not get ambushed while on foot.
