Florida Laws

#1

Post by 5111 »

The wife and I will be leaving for Florida on Friday and will be there for a little over a week. We both have our Texas CHLs and will be traveling with friends from Louisiana that also have CHLs. Can anyone sum up the differences in the laws between the two states? Are "ghostbuster" signs valid? Hospitals? etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did not see where any place could post a sign making it illegal to carry. But what about this one: "any portion of an establishment licensed to dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption" Does that mean places like Applebee's of just the bar area? I looked at 760.06 but didn't see anything that clarified.
