CCW in Lousiana Casinos

#1

Post by Setxjeff »

Carrying in Lousiana Casinos. La changed some of their carry laws in Places that sell acohol in 2013, it goes to what kind of liquor license they have, Bar verses Resturant kinda like our %51 laws but harder to determine. But I could not get a straight answer on casinos till now. I was pointed to the GAMING LAWS web site.
I live only about 2 miles from Lousiana so this has been a question of mine for a while. And the casinos have good food but in the larger ones you have to go through the gaming area to get to the food.

I have been to the golden nugget and the L'Auberge several times; the gaming area is totally seperate from the food stuff. But I keep my gun in the car.

You know LA has open carry unless its a prohibited area.

While I don't frequent them, I think the same is true for gambling casinos in Montana.

OC is legal in La, but unless you like the taste of pavement I wouldn't suggest OCing in populated areas.
