AZ CCW Application - Fingerprint Question
Just received my AZ application package and it mentions either using live-scan devices that print images on the provided cards, or the ink/roll on the cards. Is the live-scan thing the same as what is used for the TX CHL -- Morpho Trust? What I'm trying to figure out is where I can go to get that done -- I'm in The Woodlands and went to my Morpho appointment in Conroe.

Same place. Just call them at 1 800 number and tell them you are scheduling for Arizona ccw. Tell them you need two cards. I think the cost 9.50 credit/debit or money order. They will take your fingerprints and print them on the cards. Send it off and your good to go,
I got mine so that I could carry in Las Vegas.

Re: AZ CCW Application - Fingerprint Question
Looks like a wrinkle in the process. I checked on the Morpho site and unless I'm missing something here what I think I need to do is to use their Fingerprint Card service ("to digitally collect an applicant’s fingerprint images and then print them onto a standard fingerprint card (FD-258)"). If so, it looks like they only do that at certain locations and the closest location to the Houston area that comes up on their site is in OK. So if that is correct I guess that I have to find a law enforcement location for the ink/roll printing.

Re: AZ CCW Application - Fingerprint Question
I took my cards to the local sheriff office. They did the computer roll and printed. Didn't cost anything. Don't fill out top part of cards until after printing just in case the computer fills it out.

I took mine to my local SO. They took the prints the old fashion way. Rolled fingers on black ink pad. Sent off with appl. and cashiers check and 16 days later received permit.
