Update: As a few have remarked in the comments, the MA AG’s office has stealthily updated the notice to read “Any .22 caliber rimfire rifle.” The insertion of the word “rimfire” fixes the issue.
.......and this is what happens when people who literally know nothing about firearms (because they have voted themselves armed protection so that they don't need to learn) make firearms policy.

I think that we should be giving the power to make healthcare policy to people who literally know nothing about the healthcare system because they have exempted themselves from its effects (oh wait, we've already done that).......
