Campus Carry Legalized on all Public Campuses in Colorado
After a long fight, we finally got our official win today. The Colorado Supreme Court upheld the ruling that concealed carry must be allowed on all public campuses. This ruling will effectively increase the number of colleges allowing full campus carry to include all 28 colleges in the state. I don't think we've gotten any media on it yet, but I'm sure someone will post links when they're up. For anyone interested, here's the ruling

Oh, and congratulations to Colorado!
Maybe a CO delegation can come hold the frightened legislators' hands down here in Austin next time this comes up for a vote?

But they skipped gaily past the Second Amendment.
Edited to add:
Sorry, they didn't skip around the 2nd, it was never even mentioned. The constitutional question they skipped around was the CO state constitution.

The list is growing of states where the legislators are more pro gun than Texas Republicans.

Re: Campus Carry Legalized on all Public Campuses in Colorad
I've been thinking about this on/off for a while today...
I'd call this a "Happy Accident"....
Here's what I think will happen.... There will surely be a call in the legislature to "fix" this "loophole". Some progress will be made to write a bill. It will take some time. During this time, nobody will die on campus in a related incident. Maybe we'll even see a few cases where a gun stops a campus crime. When the time comes for a vote on the new legislation, Coloradans will say "but there's been no bloodshed, remind me why we think we need to stop campus carry again?"
