Let me get caught up to speed here

From what I understand, HB 1893:

*Has NOT been passed in Senate (I mean, their version)
*Is on the Calendars Committee in House
*Will be signed by Perry if it reaches his desk.

Correct?

What are the odds of passage at this point?

Also, I've been hearing rumors the bill will quietly die in the Senate Affairs Committee. True/False

Forgot a few steps (and I'm probably leaving some out)

HB1893 must be scheduled for a floor vote by calendar's committee
House floor vote must pass

Senate version of the bill (SB1164, or HB1893 if it passes out of the house first) must have committee hearing
Senate version of the bill must be voted out of committee
Senate version of the bill must be scheduled for floor vote
Senate floor vote must pass

I think some sort of version comparison must happen between houses

Perry must sign the bill both houses have passed.

A lot of steps left :(

Rumor has it Robert Duncan, despite being an R from Lubbock and having an A rating by the NRA, is against campus carry, and he's the chair of the committee. Is he going to kill it?
