Beto 2.0?

#1

Post by Ruark »

Good grief. Watch how Matthew McConaughey tries to impress everybody with how "Texan" he is and using words like "giddy up" (all us Texans ride horses, right?). If you don't know already, he spoke at the "March for our LIves" rally, and thinks we need to "compromise" with anti-gun groups. He wants to ban AR's and "infinite magazines" to address our "epidemic of gun violence." Holy Hannah, this is pathetic. Beto 2.0.

Infinite magazines? I want one of those, where do I find them?

I'm not a fan. Another one that wants to screw up a beautiful place because they think they know what's wrong.
They don't realize that they are part of the problem.
I lasted just under 6 min. (5' 54"). can't possibly listen to his droning for almost 2 1/4 hrs. YMMV

If you can stand it, skim through the replies to the first comment - about 150 of them - from people just falling for the act hook, line, and sinker.

Never have liked him. Disliking him more and more as time goes on. And he plans to be governor of Texas. Heaven help us.

I'm thinking it would have to be for a belt fed rifle. Just need more ammo linked up than the rifle can reliably shoot without seizing up from lack of lubrication (something like 20,000+ rounds), and you effectively have an infinite magazine since the mag capacity is no longer the limiting factor.

And I might be able to get behind a ban on magazines that hold more than 20,000 rounds. As long as we got something in exchange, like taking suppressors / SBR's off the NFA list, or National Reciprocity.

If he was really serious about being a "real" Texan he would at least have been wearing cowboy boots with this feet on the desk.

Good catch, to me it appears that’s exactly what it says.
