Interesting!

Thanks for posting...

My non-lawyer read.... Judge is saying that since a person can be indicted without the opportunity to provide a defense (Grand Jury or indicted without GJ), then it is unconstitutional to bar a person from purchasing/receiving a firearm solely because they are under indictment...

Emphasis mine...
https://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?req ... on:prelim)
(n) It shall be unlawful for any person who is under indictment for a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year to ship or transport in interstate or foreign commerce any firearm or ammunition or receive any firearm or ammunition which has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce.
I am not a lawyer. This is NOT legal advice.!

Nothing new here, but an article about it from ABC13 in Houston via the Texas Tribune: https://abc13.com/texas-gun-laws-suprem ... /12242642/.
