Is it true.

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

One of you political libraries help me out.
I read somewhere (I think anyway) that one of the Feds filed a bill to repeal Presidential term limits. It received no cosponcers so was just sitting somewhere.

I have exhausted all my puny resourses to try & find this.
Anyone else hear or know. Or did I dream this??????????? :patriot:

yeah, there was a bill filed, but there's always a bill filed after an election.

We need just he opposite though, we need term limits on the Congress Critters as well as el Presidente.

Since presidential term limits were imposed by the 22nd amendment, wouldn't it take another amendment to repeal them?

Someone's filed a similar bill almost every session. There were three while GWB was pres for instance, as well as a movement to repeal the 22nd.

Like so many things that happen in congress, it'll never see the light of day (thank the Lord)
