Up from Mexico Way: A Lawsuit Against U.S. Gun Manufacturers

Mexico plans to sue gun manufacturers...

We need to make sure the Texas Rifle Association, The NRA and every other 2nd Amendment group/lobby stays on top of this. Our government may turn a blind eye to this and the result may be gun manufacturers go out of business. The government can have it's way of stripping guns from society without changing a word of the constitution IF gun manufactures are sued out of existence.

A recent NRA email I received talked about this issue. Sorry I didn't save it, but I'll
recap some of the highlights:

Circa 2006, Washington legislators passed a law which outlawed lawsuits against gun makers
for selling their legal products.

Despite this, Mayor Bloomberg of NYC initiated multiple lawsuits against Beretta. His aim
was to put gun makers out of business by suing them into insolvency.

Over the years, federal judges have thrown these cases out, based on the federal statute
that protects gun makers.

The law firm that Mexico has enlisted is based in NYC - one of Bloomberg's contacts no doubt.

So - Mexico is spending lawyer money in the Big Apple, on lawsuits that will be thrown out later
by federal judges. Sheesh.

As Pawpaw posted, the NRA is already on this issue. Federal suits by foreign countries are not within TSRA's scope of operations.

Perhaps Mexico should just sue the US Government--or maybe themselves

Shouldn't Mexico be suing BATFE, for permitting all the Straw purchased guns, walk across the border?

Should we sue them for the narcotics, abductions, medical, education, and prison bills?

:iagree: and additional expense to patrol borders, and transportation costs for each we deport.

I knew a landscaping company that had Immigration bring a bus each Christmas to give most of the workers a "free ride" home for the holidays.... then they'd all be back in Dallas about January 5th. I think that was one of the "perks"
