I have seen this safe at the NRA convention. It is Yuge. Had a price tag of $19,995 and from what I gather it was built for shows and the price tag is for if somebody wants it bad enough.

I never understood using "Front".
You know some Dim Bulb is gonna ask which side is the front.

"This Side" would be clearer. No? :confused5

Maybe because it's two sentences? -- Front. Toward enemy. And the instructions say to point the front of the mine towards the enemy. So they have to specify which side is front and what to do with it. Maybe (probably) I'm wrong. Another example of government clarity and transparency in all it does, in this case writing instructions for the uh. . . . . simplest . . . . to follow? And of course the manufacturer wanted to cut costs by not spending the money on material to fill a "." on the mine.

I don't know, I'll go back to lurking in the shadows. But yes, the other option would be cleared too.

Well, if both sides looked the same, how would you know if you placed it correctly?

Same here, I've always questioned that. Saying "front towards enemy" implies that it's the other side. Like when you walk up to a door and a sign says "use front door," it means use some different door. Common sense would say to use "this side." I can see setting that thing off in the field with the wrong side out. "Oops, sorry about that, chief...."

This side towards enemy, seems like less chance for mistakes. People aren't messing this up too much I don't think, but considering you see training fails with people throwing grenade pins instead of grenades why risk it?
