Off Duty draws on innocent man

This cop is an idiot on so many levels.

Second, even though you are off duty, carry your gun in a holster and practice drawing it from that holster. He struggled with getting his gun out of his pocket and is lucky he didn't shoot himself or someone else.

Looking at the time counter on the video that was a 5 second draw from concealment... after the cop announces himself...perhaps an empty chamber, because it looks like he racks the slide after the draw.

We should learn from this officer's failure on so many levels.

Average draw from concealment should be more like 2 seconds. Less is better. Helps a lot to carry in a holster. And getting the drop on someone would dictate drawing before you let them know you are there.
