California restriction on gun ads

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

California restriction on gun ads

#1

Post by KLB »

The ever-innovative California legislature enacted a bill providing:

"No handgun or imitation handgun, or placard advertising the sale or other transfer thereof, shall be displayed in any part of [a store that sells handguns] where it can readily be seen from the outside."

A federal district court struck the statute down.

Not yet knowable whether California appeals to the 9th Circuit, the place where unPC causes of action go to die.

Sadly this is what we can expect more of in states controlled by the democratic party.

The constitution apparently only applies to causes they support.
