No as long as you are an active voter it remains active. I think it requires you to skip two or three consecutive elections for it to become inactive and you have to start over.

TX LTC Instructor, Personal/Family Protection and Self Defense Instructor.
Without The First and Second Amendments the rest are meaningless.
