There are snowflakes everywhere. Another reason they should not have eliminated the draft.
I admit that I might not have enlisted, were it not for the draft, as I was starting a career, but I would have missed a life-changing experience. The majority of men under 40 have probably missed that experience, and there is no way I can explain what kind of person they would be now, had they taken that opportunity. Water under the bridge.
From at least 1763 to about 1975, most men in America served in the military, and the difference in our societal structure, then and now, is obvious, at least to me.
It would have never occured to people of "the greatest generation" (WWII era) to remove a rifle from a postage stamp because someone might be offended. Really?
I trust those bureaucrats have a safe space somewhere.

Government, like fire is a dangerous servant and a fearful master
If you ain't paranoid you ain't paying attention
Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war let it begin here- John Parker

The above link dates to 2004, and details how such precious Massachusetts snowflakes objected to the school's symbol and wanted to strut their PC stuff.
The UMass symbol is a colonial era Minuteman (white male) holding a musket. How awfull......horrors!
Many snowflakes wanted to remove the firearm. Sheesh.
More contemporary stories show that the Minuteman and his musket have been retained, but I would not hold my breath that it's permanent.
