Tazewell County Forms Militia in Response to New Virginia Gun Laws
https://www.firearmsnews.com/editorial/ ... aws/370026
In response to the wave of proposed anti-gun legislation in Virginia, many of its cities and counties have declared themselves Second Amendment Sanctuaries. One county, in particular, took it a step further at their December 3rd County Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting.

In addition to passing their Second Amendment Sanctuary Resolution, the county also passed a Militia Resolution. This resolution formalizes the creation, and maintenance of a defacto civilian militia in the county of Tazewell.

Can we take up a collection to mail them a “come and take it” flag at the court house?

Don't mail any money just yet. Soon we might need to take up a collection of our own. :(

I'm trying to find a flaw in this action. So far, it seems brilliant.
Can militia members possess full-auto? That would be a bonus. ;-)

I probably should have asked.... "Will militia members be issued full auto?"... My morning coffee hasn't reached an effective level yet.

IIRC, according to USC Title 10, the Militia (according to Federal Law) is defined as the Organized Militia which consists of the National Guard and the Unorganized Militia consists of all able bodied males over the age of 17 who are not members of the regular or reserve military or members of the National Guard.

...and maintenance of a defacto civilian militia in the county of Tazewell.

"de facto militia?" If the county "formalized the creation and maintenance" of a militia doesn't that make it a de jure militia?

Another County Sheriff declared he is ready to deputize all cleared by him gun owners as deputies, now not only they can posses firearms but NFA class 3 too.

'The law is the law': Virginia Democrats float prosecution and National Guard for police who fail to enforce gun control legislation
McEachin also noted that Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam could call the National Guard, if necessary.

“And ultimately, I'm not the governor, but the governor may have to nationalize the National Guard to enforce the law,” he said. “That's his call, because I don't know how serious these counties are and how severe the violations of law will be. But that's obviously an option he has.”
Once again, democrats demonstrate that theirs is the party of fascism. I don’t have a ton of respect for the GOP, but I positively HATE the democrat party.

As least we don’t have any doubt about the intentions of the socialist democrats. Funny how “the law is the law” with the communists except when the law is something they disagree with, then resistance is acceptable.

Another great day to stock up on ammo.

The National Guard cannot be used to protect the border to enforce immigration laws but can be used against US citizens to enforce unConstitutional gun laws. Will the dems allow the National Guard to have bullets to enforce gun laws unlike when they are at the border? Fascism, socialism, or communism, the democrats are definitely not democratic and the curtains keeps getting pulled back more and more to expose them for what they really are.
