Proof I don't know what I am doing

My 300 blkout SBR has been completed. This will be home defense or truck gun.

I saw that skull lower at a gun show and went a little nuts. It is heavier than most lowers, combined with the all metal mvb stock, it tips the scale at over 8.8 lbs with suppressor. Which feels heavy for a sbr.

8.5" rainer barrel
ALG trigger
Saker 7.62 suppressor and muzzle brake
mvb stock
raptor charging handle
midwest industries handguard
Cryptic Bcg

If you are in the Market for a short stock I would recommend the LWRC ultra compact stock kit, over the mvb. Cheaper, lighter, very comfortable, and short

That receiver must be really heavy, because my 10.5" SBR built on Spikes Gen II Billet receiver halves and a 10.5" Rainier barrel weighs 6 lbs unsuppressed, and 7 lbs with the suppressor attached..........and I have a longer barrel.

Wait....how much weight does that buttstock assembly add? Mine has the MFT Minimalist stock, which is really light.

Spikes Tactical makes one just like it too: http://www.spikestactical.com/the-jack- ... -1324.html. And for the same price...... which tells me that someone else is manufacturing them and branding them for Spikes or Sharps Bros.

They're identical except for the Spikes branding on theirs.

Is it just my old eyes or do both of those receivers look like where the safety goes there could be three settings? Safe, fire, and 3-round burst.

That looks cool.

That being said, I don't think that I would want the DA to hold that thing up in front of a jury if I ever had to use it.

I'd keep that for the range, showing to friends, and for hogs and use something else for social encounters.

I had a loaded 20 round magazine when I weighed it so take about a pound off that

What are you looking at cost wise to put together a suppressed SBR in 300 blkout?

ATF tax, suppressor, decent lower, etc?
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
