Some one should ask Cuban if he'd bo OK with letting states decide how the 1st Amendment is administered by the states. Like not letting idiots spout nonsensical ramblings.

Mark Cuban says:
"... the federal government will never be allowed to ever confiscate that gun from an individual.”
"States have the right to manage the ownership—the purchase, ownership, and management—of guns owned and held within their borders,..."
So, when the government decides that you no longer need your guns, instead of the local police and ATF kicking in your door to take them, it's the local police and Texas DPS? And that's better, how, exactly?

Anyone else notice that he said you can own a gun not guns?

This is just an attempt to try not to sound anti gun. He's another liberal billionaire (I'll edit myself)...
In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

He seems to have forgotten about the 14th Amendment....under which the individual right to keep and bear arms was incorporated in McDonald v. Chicago.

If I edited the 2nd amendment I would explicitly include that firearms and ammunition are never to be taxed and that the states must offer firearms training and public shooting ranges to law abiding citizens at no charge.

The Militia Act of 1903:
Rifle ranges also are needed, not only for the National Guard,
but also for the citizen population. To shoot well is a large part
of the education of the soldier ; and if the Government can arouse
such an interest in shooting, in not only the organized but also
the unorganized militia, that our male population shall be familiar
with the accurate use of the rifle, we shall have gone far towards
evening up the advantage the foreigner gains by his universal
conscription. Much can be accomplished in this direction, if the
United States will offer free the use of the military rifle on ranges
to be established near our large towns. Such ranges would also
be available for the instruction of the National Guard. Their cost
would be little in comparison with the benefits to be obtained.
The cost of sufficient target ranges and camp sites for the whole
country will hardly exceed that of one or two new battle-ships
.
ETA ...and that the right to manufacture arms shall not be infringed :txflag:

Perhaps he would like to have every Constitutional right, left up to individual States. The Constitution is very clear, and written in plain English, that anything not written within, is within the State's purview. Unfortunately for Cuban, and every other leftist, the RTKBA, is covered, under the Constitution. Despite several States, as well as the Federal government's, best efforts to thwart it.

Elite wealthy people like Cuban, believe they have some special insight, aided, and abetted, by MSM, from nothing more than their wealth, to dictate, to the wretched refuse, how they should live their lives. Cuban can afford to pay people to do the unsavory task of carrying guns, to protect him, and from his ivory tower, believes that he is more tuned in to solving problems, than those who can't afford to do so. Well, not that I had planned on voting for him anyway, but it's nice to see that elitist confirm my decision.
