That was certainly more interesting than you wanted it to be. How many rounds before the extractor broke in the first place?

Can you determine the cause? Poor quality, etc?

I had an improperly heat treated bolt catch fail in one of my guns, right in the middle of a match. Fortunately, had a backup rifle. That catch serves as a zipper pull on one of my guns bags as a reminder.
