10K is where the Bank will make a report to big brother. Maybe it is money they made working for cash. Many folks do jobs for cash to avoid the IRS. Most of those I have heard of though don't put it in the bank where it can be recorded. I don't know that it means she was up to something illegal except maybe tax evasion. Maybe 9K was all they needed. The story mentioned this happened to another person recently but it simply called it a large amount of cash. What I wondered was why she went to the mailbox with 9 grand in her pocket. That is some serious lack of situational awareness. When I am running around with a large amount of cash on me, I am like a cat on a hot tin roof until after i get it secured in some way.

Note they jog up to the business, stop short, & somewhat 'stack on the door' before breaching the glass to make entry.

As the camera view changes, note that most (but not all) have decent muzzle awareness as they flow through the door with depressed muzzles. (Not the guy with the AR, though. He muzzles his partners a couple times throughout the robbery).

Note the actions of the slender guy by the pool table, not running around doing priorities of work like the others. Is he on the phone talking with an exterior security team/early warning via a Bluetooth headset, or just fidgeting with his hoodie & mask? Is he the time keeper ensuring they don't linger too long?

Note a couple of the robbers are wearing backpacks on backwards, with the tops unzipped/opened for ease of loading the loot.

They all arrived in a single SUV without plates, & departed via a different vehicle leaving that SUV behind (... with the security camera equipment they had just taken from the crime scene...).

Surprise/Speed.
Coordinated fires (sealing off the objective)
Violence of Action.
Planned Withdrawal.

Somewhat sloppy, but satisfied the principals for a military raid.

Its also illegal to make transactions with $9000 to avoid the reporting requirements for $10,000. To me carrying a lot of cash is $300.

Murder number 22. There has been a big pause in murders. Could be the rain or could be the big explosion has pushed murders off the news, so I didn't see them.

A third fatal car crash in Harris County on Sunday turns into felony murder. The driver's 4th DWI. Bammel North Houston and Champions Forest Drive. Been there hundreds of times.

Man found shot three times in the chest outside his exwife's new house where she lives with her new husband at 1:15 am. Two shell casings were found in the front yard. Neighbors say they heard gun shots. Wife says he came to the house wounded. They are not sure if shell casings are from the same gun that shot the man. Still under investigation.

I would say remaining silent, is different than telling the police lies at the scene. But it could be just like they are saying.
