Well spoken, the easy path is to blame others for our troubles even if there wasn't anyone. It is hard to accept responsibility for our troubles and even harder to fix what can be fixed and accept what can't and move forward. Powerful video. Thank you. :tiphat:

It’s alright for us to disagree and we need opposite views for good conversation. I would rather debate with someone with views other than mine, it is usually a good way to see another viewpoint that otherwise might not have been considered. It doesn’t mean I will change but I do not mind hearing other viewpoints. I am a very conservative Christian but I have one friend in particular that is a lifelong liberal. Heck, the majority of my family are liberals. At least with my liberal friend we can view our opinions and disagree and rib each other but we never get mad over it.
His apology said the forum is filled with closet racists. That's not an apology. I resent being called a racist or a closet racist.
If you are not racist or a closet racist, then the statement would not be aimed at you now would it? If you are offended, there must be a reason you think it was directed at you. I was speaking to those who know exactly who I am talking about. If it's not you, you can keep it moving.
And THAT is why I consider what you are doing to be a form of trolling. What you think of me, or call me, is irrelevant. YOU do not control my life, YOU do not get to determine who I am or how I treat people, as you do not know me, nor anything about me. If Mr. Cotton or one of the other moderators no longer wishes me to be a member of this forum, then so be it. The poster did not just disagree. The poster accused everyone on this board and everyone in Texas of being racists. Typical leftist Loon maneuver. Calculated to shut down all opinions other than their own. Personally, I think this poster is the actual racist. Looking for racism in situations where none exists. Funny thing. In this posters first response he spewed forth several racist stereotypes of his own. 50K college with all bills paid? All white people think a person with a new pickup is a drug dealer? I know I am one white boy who had no free college, lived on the streets at 16-17 and worked his way up while raising two kids on his own. NO GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE! Just hard work. All white people assume the black guy in the store is there to rob it? That is just ignorance! I don't even think about what color people I see out on the street are. All I think when I see a person driving a new pickup, if anything, is"I bet those payments are high". I don't even notice the race of the person!
Nickgibson72 wrote: Sat Jun 20, 2020 9:33 am The ignorance I speak of is all over this website. Every thread on here has racial undertones throughout. All I've seen since moving here is a state filled with racists.

Apparently I triggered quite a few boomers on here for calling someone racist who posted a racist post. I was in no way trolling. I simply pointed out how every single "privilege" in the OP was aimed at the black community. But yet I am the racist here? That logic right there is why the world is as screwed up as it is. But clearly I am in the minority here so I'll just shut up. Happy father's day gents.

Not quite an accurate statement or maybe I should say this is an outright lie. You said the site was full of racists and that racism was apparent in every thread hear. That is a little different from calling one person a racist or saying one post is racist.

but the good news is that you have clearly revealed your own biases and racism. When you were first confronted, you decided to back off from the every thread claim and made it only those which are responses to posts about the BLM movement. By doing so, you revealed your own prejudices where you clearly think anyone who disagrees with you or BLM is a racist. The part you conveniently ignored is that BLM has evolved into much more than just a group fighting for racial equality, if it ever was that. BLM is a political group and I disagree with their political beliefs. I happen to disagree with their basic premise also, that is that the police are targeting young unarmed black men to kill for no reason at all.

Now, you are showing even more discrimination. You have just called everyone who disagrees with you a very pejorative term - "boomers." You have no way of knowing the age of any of us, though some of us are part of the baby boom generation. And you use the term to dismiss the opinion of anyone who disagreed with you. You never even thought to consider that some of us disagreed on a valid basis, or even that the age of a person who is older than you might give them some more experience on which to make a judgement. There is an old saying about with age comes wisdom. It is not always true, but with age comes more experience on which to make a judgement.

Based on the posts you have made in this thread, I do not think you were trolling. You did act like a fascist by attacking anyone who disagrees with you. I started to type in what I did think of you, but personal attacks are a violation of forum rules and I try to be more polite than that anyway.

Maybe not a troll but definitely racist. Believing that everything is based on skin color is the very definition of racist. It amazes me that folks come to Texas from states like Massachusetts that have been destroyed by leftists and they still want to believe in the leftist culture. He speaks of BLM as if it is somehow an honorable enterprise while BLM doesn't say a word about cities like Boston and Chicago where the black on black murder rate is far higher than the number of blacks killed by cops. If BLM cared about black lives, they would not avoid the obvious perpetrators of young blacks being murdered by the thousands in America. BLM is nothing more than a political activist group using race baiting as a way of pushing forth a socialist agenda.

And the racist boomers continue to come pouring in. I never said anything about me supporting BLM. I said that when BLM comes up in the media, there is always a post on this site bashing in. Not once did I say anything else about BLM, so clearly you are both racist and illiterate. But hey, we can't all be winners in life. I am done with this whole conversation. I have learned to never come and comment on a post because clearly people on here can't carry on an intelligent debate without getting their panties all twisted up. And you guys wonder why this site has gone down hill in the past year. Good day gents

Accusing everyone in Texas and everyone on this forum of being racist is not exactly "just making a comment". When you start out by attacking the entire forum and the entire State of Texas you should expect a less than cordial reaction.

Again sir, let's learn how to read and comprehend before we comment shall we. I said that this site and state are filled with racist people. Last time I checked, that didn't mean everyone on the site and in the state were racist. Filled with and everyone are completely different. I can add links to an online dictionary of that helps clear things up for you.
