One day this "update" is going to fill up an entire page by itself....
With the sixth month anniversary of data I'm going to shorten the format.

Its actually 9 months since the first post. I really should have gotten more done around the house during that time.

That may be the trend, but that's probably not going to be the case based on the distribution of deaths throughout the year. Basically more people die during the colder weather than the warmer weather. From whatever little statistics I can pull up, we are on track to have a growth of deaths this year with no surprises whatsoever. That is, COVID will have no impact on the death rate of 2020. Death rates have been steadily increasing since 2014, and it will continue until the baby boomer generation has mostly passed.

Interesting. I'm curious to see how the case load will go. Could be a good sample for the rest of the country.

Texas is leading in new cases per day. Houston is back up again. Europe is increasing. South Africa and Sweden remain low.

Where are you getting your Houston case numbers? New cases don't match what TMC is publishing.

I’m using Channel 2 news viewing area. So it’s bigger than Houston and Harris county. It sort of the Houston metropolitan area. Channel 2 consistently updates it everyday and doesn’t change the boundaries.

TMC's numbers are for the 9 counties in the Houston metro. For yesterday, they reported 543 new cases in the Greater Houston plus a backlog of 316 older cases. That's a huge discrepancy.

Here is their daily report. My numbers in this case are an average of 17 days, so daily number could be different.

Looks like the difference could be explained by the number of counties included in your source vs TMC. Yours has 19 counties, TMC is using 9 counties, my guess is Harris and the 8 closest surrounding.

I debated whether to post this in the meme thread, or this one. I figured that since it is more related to Covid and the lockdowns, it belongs here. Have some humor everyone!

WHO, which Trump vilifies and the lefties worship, just basically admitted that Trump is right with his handling of the virus. I'm guessing the MSM is omitting this to avoid cleaning up a giant mess of exploding lefty heads.
