March 4-5,2022 = TSRA Annual Meeting. Who else is going?

Post by surprise_i'm_armed »

TSRA, the Texas State Rifle Association, is the NRA affiliate for our state. They do good work promoting our 2A interests in Austin.

This next Friday and Saturday, March 4 & 5, 2022 is the AGM/Annual General Meeting.

2020 - The last in-person AGM was in Waco, just before the scam demic kicked off.
I attended in person and met Allen West, Jack Wilson (White Settlement church GG), and 2 forum members (Paladin and AF-Odin).

2021 - It was on Zoom. I have no interest in Zoom meetings, so I didn't attend that way.

2022 - This year's AGM will be in person, in Bastrop, home of the TSRA office. The AGM site is not at the TSRA office.

If anyone on the board is going, I would like to meet you in person and chat. Please respond on this thread, or PM me.

See you there. The PAC will be holding a fund raiser Friday evening with quite a few items for regular and silent auction. Tickets are required and may be purchased on the TSRA web site.

Also, you will get to meet our new Executive Director Diana Greenwood who replaced Vicki upon her retirement as well as our Legislative Director, Andi Turner. Andi worked herself to the nubs during the last legislative session and quite a bit of pro 2A legislative initiatives passed.

AF-Odin:

I will be attending the free session(s), and have tickets for the Friday night event + the Saturday lunch.

See you there. I will be wearing a silver DPS Stetson, western pearl snap shirt, bolo, and my Kimber 1911.

Forgive me if I don't remember your face....it's been 2 years!
