Anyone use the Cabelas bulk ammo?

I have a $200 Cabelas gift card and was going to buy some ammo before prices go up again. It's $140 for 600 rounds, just wanting to make sure they have been reliable to shoot.

I bought it once, mine was wolf reloads. Very dirty but reliable. For me it was too dirty to be worth the savings and it sure did make a LOT of smoke.

Yeah, I was considering getting some bulk ammo from them in 9mm about a month ago. I went and compared the cost per box to the Magtech and WWB, and there was no advantage to buying the bulk.

Cabela's pricing is really screwy with ammo - it doesn't make sense. If you buy WWB by the box, you end up spending less for individual boxes than for the bulk packs. I looked closer and saw that dust had collected on the bulk packs. I guess they're waiting for some sucker who can't do math to come and buy them, as they've been sitting there for months now.

Magtech is good stuff and it feeds great.

I would recommend checking out Georgia Arms bulk ammo.

Theirs is 18.5 cents each compared to Cabela's 22.4 cents in 1200 lots.
